PEC Community Connectors Voter Registration DriveLAST DAY TO REGISTER FOR THE PRIMARY IS MONDAY, MAY 2ND, 2022, so join PEC's Community Connectors at the MLK Jr. Pavilion at 40th Street and Lancaster Avenue from 11am to 3pm 5/2 to get it done. We'll have forms on hand in English & Spanish. You will also be able to register to vote online. Paper forms will be delivered to the Office of the City Commissioners by 4pm that day.

Heritage West Offers Workshops, Free Admission to Penn MuseumLoLa 38, People’s Emergency Center's creative placemaking initiative, is partnering with the Penn Museum to deepen meaningful connections between the museum and neighboring West Philadelphia communities. We hope this initiative will broaden access to the Museum’s collections and programs around archaeology and anthropology, taking steps to increase social equity at one of Philadelphia’s top cultural attractions, while strengthening a sense of belonging for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
Lab Renovation Nears CompletionWe are excited to announce that physical updates to our computer lab at 3939 Warren Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 are almost finished! Expect open public lab hours and opportunities for in-person classes this summer. We anticipate that classes will have both online and in-person options this summer.

People’s Emergency Center’s (PEC) NASC service area is between 31st and 48th Streets from Market Street to Mantua Avenue. There are 14 members who serve their neighborhoods for a term of two years. A new committee is being elected this year. You are invited to share your ideas, skills, and time with your neighbors by being a part of the PEC NASC!
