Transitional Housing

As families in our emergency shelter acquire core life skills, they are eligible to move to one of our eleven single-family transitional housing rooms in our main facility, at 3902 Spring Garden Street. The benefits of increased privacy and their own bathroom come with more financial responsibility, which helps prepare families for independent living.

Families who continue to progress toward their goals advance to one of our twenty-six individual family apartments with their own kitchens in Rowan House, which is located at 325 N 39th Street. Families at Rowan House take on more responsibilities, including shopping for themselves, preparing meals and asuring that their children are prepared for school on time each day.
