Home Repair & Façade

PECCDC’s home repair and façade improvement program helps homeowners maintain their homes, many of which are over 100 years old and in dire need of repairs. These home improvements and repairs improve property values, creating wealth for longtime homeowners and further stabilizing blocks.

PECCDC oversees inspectors and contractors, brings together funders, and helps residents navigate the process. Residents contribute up to 10% of construction costs. Over the past five years we have invested over $800,000 in façade improvements and repairs to the homes of 49 longtime homeowners in the West Powelton, Saunders Park, and Mantua neighborhoods.
