HOW YOU CAN HELP

In Kind Donations

Everybody's Birthday Party! in July is an opportunity for every PEC family member to come to a picnic/barbeque on site at PEC and celebrate together.  There is no charge to the families for food and games. We would like to give a small gift to all the family members who attend, but that funding is not in the budget.  Please check out our Amazon wish list here if you can help.

Donate by check or credit card

Your unrestricted support will help PEC to fill in the gaps for family and neighborhood programs that are important and impactful, but not supported by grants.

The families at People's Emergency Center are hoping for some special summer fun this season:

  • The children who attend PEC's summer camp want to go to Hershey Park for a day. Most of them have never had an amusement park experience, and they need your help with the ticket, food and transportation costs
  • The families who live in our permanent supported housing would like to take a trip to Clementon Park and Splashworld to escape the heat of the city for a day and have fun as a family. They can pay for some of the costs, but need your help to make this dream a reality.

To support these activities, please enter Summer in the notes or memo field when you make your donation.

Click the DONATE NOW link at the top to donate by credit card.

Volunteer

PEC started as an all-volunteer agency. We host dedicated volunteers every year who want to make a difference in the community. PEC is always looking for energetic people to lend a helping hand.

Volunteer alone or with your family, your colleagues or your faith community. Commit to one day, once a week, or once a month – your time and presence can be so very important. You could volunteer for a few weeks or months, or even make a year-long commitment to helping PEC further its mission.

Here are some of our immediate needs:
