Lancaster Avenue Jazz and Arts Festival on Saturday, July 21, Noon-6pm at Saunders Park Greene (39th and Powelton Avenue)
The People’s Emergency Center (PEC) invites jazz enthusiasts of all ages to experience a day of free, live music from the area’s top artists and emerging talent, featuring:

Doc Gibbs and Friends
Glenn Bryan and Reference Point
Jazz Planet
Upbeat performances in a range of styles to make your feet shuffle and fingers snap throughout the afternoon. The event also offers walking tours of the neighborhood’s vibrant murals; a marketplace featuring hundreds of handcrafted items such as jewelry, pottery, and housewares; and a variety of local food vendors. Family activities will include a moon bounce and children’s arts and crafts.
